1722 [The Second Edition] Duodecimo, half calf binding of a somewhat later date, but not modern. 88pp. Title page and last page soiled, consistent with being disbound at some point. The last page has a tear with no loss. Defoe was a prolific writer and wrote other material for J Roberts, but this is a rare copy of his work, written in a rather lurid style, designed apparently to maximize sales by its shock value.
