Copyright page states 'First Pinting' but there is a small stamped dot to the bottom corner of the lower board and the title does not contain the word 'The' indicating that this is the book club version sold alongside the true first edition. Bumped to the lower fore-corner, else bright, tight and Vg in a dustwrapper that is price-clipped and lightly chipped. Price: 35.00 USD

Harrison Smith and Robert Haas. 1934 First Edition With Dustwrapper Octavo, dark blue cloth with gilt titling to spine and top board. 371pp. Spine is faded to head and heel of spine. Endpapers are partially toned and have some foxing. Page margins are beginning to tone. Dustwrapper is darkened, worn and chipped with tape repairs to the internal surface. Duodecimo, dark blue cloth with silver titling to spine and top board. 319pp. This New Edition of the authors first book was published when Faulkner was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature.
