First edition. Octavo, blue cloth with black and gilt decoration and gilt titling. Top edge gilt. 265pp. 60 plates, of which most are paintings by John Fulleylove. Tissue guards with plate titles and descriptions. Spine is darkened and there is some wear to edges and corners. Endpapers toned. One plate loose. The third book by Edward Thomas written while still struggling to establish his reputation.
