Octavo, oatmeal cloth and green boards with black titling on label to spine. 88pp. 5 whole page wood-cuts. Minor marks to spine, lightly rubbed to corners. The frontispiece wood-cut has created a shadow to the title page. A stamp to pastedowns indicates name of previous owner. Pages beginning to tone to margins, else clean and Vg copy. Originally published in Scribner's magazine as Hard Wood.
