Undated, but 1921. A portfolio of prints in the publishers clam-shell box, with double-spread leaf introduction. A limited edition of 500 copies, of which this copy is numbered 223. 17 (of 20) graphic works by Brangwyn in color and black and white. Lacks plates 1, 2 and 3 of the set. Previously owned by a Museum, who indicate in a note to the description of the plates, that Plates 1, 2 and 3 are kept in their permanent collection. Each print is matted. Text in German throughout. Clamshell box has titling and accession filing in white to spine. Clamshell box is worn to edges and folds but is sound. Plates and introductory leaf are in excellent condition and are near Fine. Each could be framed.
